Direct fastening in EPP foams without pre-hole
The EJOT EPPsys D was specifically developed for the reliable fastening of components in EPP foams (expanded polypropylene). Thanks to its optimised thread geometry, the fastening element can be fastened directly into the foam without a pilot hole. This reduces tolerance issues, simplifies assembly and increases process reliability. At the same time, high pull-out forces, a large margin between installation and stripping-torque, and the low weight of the plastic element enable economical and robust lightweight constructions.
